About
I have always been obsessed with time. I have been fighting the motion of time for as long as I can remember. In my work and my life, I wrestle with the conflict of wanting time to stand still while fighting for change and progress. In my memory, it is possible to indulge in nostalgia; to focus on the blissful moments and temporarily shut out the horrifying ones. In my work, I deal with the wonderful and horrible, often in the same piece. One of my motivating forces is to capture fragments of time–whether they stem from a current obsession, a climactic event or a fleeting phenomenon.
